Each pattern carefully placed — creating a camellia of 20 stone monoliths
Through precise drawings and 3D renders, the layered geometry of the petals was envisioned, ensuring the piece remained visually whole with or without water. Indian White Marble was chosen for its luminosity and ability to hold intricate detail, allowing deep petal carvings that play with light and shadow.
Large blocks of marble were shaped with CNC machining, followed by intensive hand-finishing to refine surfaces and edges, giving each petal its sculptural grace. The petals were assembled at carefully varied angles, creating a multi-directional water flow that brings subtle differences in movement, reflection, and sound.
This water feature is serene. It is stillness in motion — an ode to what endures and what transforms.
